Jeevakkal Integrated Complex of Special Homes

Jeevakkal Integrated Home was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Selvi. J. Jayalalitha in September 2012. The Home is an abode for Destitute Children aged between 5 and 18 years, and helpless elderly persons aged above 60 years. The strength of the Integrated Home is 50 persons, of which 25 are children and 25 are aged persons. All the children are either single parented or unable to be cared at homes, owing to familial problems. Our elderly are rarely visited from their homes and this complex is a haven for them.  The Department of Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Program is the supporting agency for this Home.
